What happens after the UP CNET result 2026?
The admission process for four-year BSc Nursing, two-year Post Basic BSc Nursing, and two-year MSc Nursing in Uttar Pradesh consists mainly of two stages: the former is sitting in the entrance examination, and the latter is appearing in counseling. The second stage for the academic year 2026-27 is all set to begin shortly after the result.
The ABVMU has yet to announce when they will start the counseling process; a media report suggests that they may do so in July 2026. Notably, counseling consists of multiple stages and is held in multiple rounds. It starts with registration and ends with college reporting; let’s have a closer look at the complete process.
- Once the counseling process begins, you have to register yourself on the portal by paying a counseling fee.
- After that, you have to participate in the choice filing and locking; it also starts with registration, and its window lasts 2-4 days more. It includes choosing a college in preference and locking the seat before the deadline.
- Once the window for the choice filling and locking closes, the ABVMU prepares the seat allotment result based on candidates’ rank in the entrance examination and reservation rules and makes it public online.
- After the seat allotment result, you have to download your allotment order by accepting your seat and report to the allotted college for admission.
Notably, if you don’t get the seat the same as the first choice in preference, you will have an option of upgrading; the details about the same are still to be made public. They will soon release rules and regulations for the complete counseling process with a schedule.
