The Reserve Bank of India conducted the online examination on 28 February 2026 and 01 March 2026 for the recruitment of office attendants under the regional offices of the RBI. If you have participated in the first stage of the selection process, note that the result will be made public as a merit list carrying the qualified candidates’ roll numbers.
The online examination was conducted by the Reserve Bank of India against the 572 vacancies, and the number of students who participated in it are in the thousands; now they are all waiting for the result. As of now, they haven’t confirmed any date for the result, but there’s a high speculation that they will make it public in the last week of June 2026.
The result for the RBI Office Attendant online examination will be made public as a merit list, which carries the roll numbers of qualified candidates. Notably, you will be declared successful in the examination only if your score in the examination is equal to or above the cut-off marks for your category in your state.

- Go to the official website of the Reserve Bank of India by visiting https://opportunities.rbi.org.in/.
- Now, an option that is ‘Recruitment of Office Attendant 2026′ will be before you; tap on it and go to the next page.
- Click on the option that reads ‘List of Candidates Eligible for Language Proficiency Test (LPT)’, tap on it and download the merit list.
- Open the result file and search your roll number to check if you have passed the examination.

The selection process for the recruitment of an office attendant under the RBI consists of two stages: an online examination and a language proficiency test; individuals who clear the first stage will be called for the second, that is, a language proficiency test.
The Reserve Bank of India hasn’t confirmed any date for the LPT, but there’s high speculation that they will conduct it in July or August 2026. After the conclusion of the second stage, they will prepare the final selection list based on candidates’ performance in the online examination, and then document verification will take place for appointment.
A few days after the document verification, shortlisted candidates will get the appointment letter via post, and then they will be able to join their duty. During the service period, individuals will get the salary as per the 7th Central Pay Commission, including basic pay, dearness allowance, house rent allowance, etc.
