The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially released the CA Final May 2026 results today, June 18, 2026. ICAI CA May 2026 Passing Criteria
Notably, to pass the ICAI Chartered Accountant May 2026 examination for Foundation, Intermediate or Final, it is mandatory to achieve at least a 40% score on each paper and 50% aggregate, meaning if you have participated in the Foundation, you need at least 40 marks in each paper and 200 marks as an aggregate.
Students of intermediate and final courses need at least 40 marks in the paper but 150 marks in each group. Notably, even if you aggregate a score of equal to or above 50%, i.e., 200 marks, for Foundation, or 150 marks, for Intermediate or Final, and you failed to get 40 marks even in a single subject, you will fail the examination.
ICAI CA May 2026 Merit List
The ICAI released the merit list too with the results for Foundation, Intermediate and Final. Note that it will carry the details of top-performing candidates with their photographs and marks, which you can access with your roll number. Note that the merit list for Foundation will carry the details of only the top 3 all-India rank holders, while the Intermediate and Final merit lists will carry the top 50.
