On August 18, 2026, Bihar Public Service Commission finally released the notification for recruitment of Teachers in government schools of Bihar for a total number of 32,388 vacancies. Candidates who were waiting for its release eagerly are hereby notified that the BPSC has disclosed the date to accept the application form from the eligible and interested candidates across the state.
The link to apply for this recruitment drive is all set to be available from September 1, 2026, and last until 29th of the month. Individuals who are eligible and interested are highly recommended to submit their application form without waiting for the last date. All candidates are recommended to fill in all the details accurately on their online application form, because mistakes may result in the rejection.

Out of total positions, 3,847 for Class 1 to 5 teacher, 8,563 for Class 6 to 8, 3,877 for Class 9 to 10, and 16,101 for Class 11 to 12.

The 12th must be from a CBSE or BSEB recognised school, Graduation or Postgraduation from a UGC-recognised university, or DElEd, BEd, or equivalent from a NCTE-recognized institution. Candidates who are above the age of 37 male claim relaxation, which is 3 years for UR, BC, and EBC female, and BC and EBC male; 5 years for SC and ST male and female.

The first stage is qualifying in nature, and second is score. The BPSC is all set to prepare the final selection list based on candidates’ performance in the Section 2 of the last stage.

The preliminary and main examination is all set to be administered using the OMR sheet, and questions are set to be multiple-choice type, for questions there will be four options, of the which, only one is set to correct and rest are incorrect.
