UGC NET June 2026 Minimum Passing Marks
The National Testing Agency has already released the minimum passing marks for the UGC NET June 2026. It is 40% for unreserved and 35% for scheduled caste, scheduled tribes, and other backward classes (non-creamy layer). Achieving this score doesn’t mean you have passed the examination for assistant professorship and junior research fellowship.
To pass the UGC NET June 2026 for AP or JRF, you need a score equal to or above the cut-off marks. Note that only the top six percent of candidates for each subject will qualify for the assistant professorship, and the top one percent will qualify for the junior research fellowship, and if you don’t qualify for JRF or AP and get a score equal to or above minimum passing marks, you will pass the PhD admission.
