Note that the result won’t be made public simultaneously for the 2nd, 4th and 6th semester, the University will first release it for the 6th semester, then for 4th and then for 2nd. Only those students are going to be declared successful in the examination, whose score will meet or exceed the passing criteria.
To pass the examination, it is mandatory to get a 40% score on paper and aggregate. Notably, you are required to get 32 marks out of 40 in the End Semester Examination and 8 marks out of 20 in Continuous Internal Assessment. Marks are converted to grade for each paper, check the details about it in the front below.
| Score Range | Letter Grade | Grade Points | Performance Category |
| 90% to 100% | A+ | 10 | Outstanding |
| 80% to 89% | A | 9 | Excellent |

If any student fails to meet the passing criteria of even a single paper, he or she will be declared unsuccessful in the examination, even if his or her score as aggregate is equal to or above 40 marks. Also note that subjects with the practical component have some special rule; in theory, the students need only 40%, but 50% is required to pass the practical.
The result to be made public on the official website of Telangana University will be a marksheet but not the original copy, it will be provisional. Each student will get the original one from the admitted college, which is expected to be received within four weeks after the result release. It carries the same details that are available on online results.
As the result release is expected to begin in late June 2026, students can anticipate that they will get the original marksheet for their examination by late July 2026. One thing you need to do after collecting this document is verify all the details on it, and if you find any mistakes, you have to get it corrected by contacting the examination department of your college or university.
