OU Degree Results 2026 Soon for 2nd, 4th and 6th Semester Regular Examination

Osmania University, Hyderabad, conducted BA, BSc, BCom, and other undergraduate regular examinations for the 2nd, 4th, and 6th semesters and backlog examinations for the 1st, 3rd, and 5th semesters for the academic year 2025-26 in April-May 2026. Students who participated in these examinations are now eagerly waiting for the result announcement.

If you are a student of any college that is affiliated with the OU, Hyderabad, and participated in the academic year 2025-26, either the even semester regular or odd semester backlog examination, then you need to know that the answer sheet evaluation process will be completed by the last week of June 2026, and then the result release will take place.

Reportedly, the university is expected to announce the results for the degree examination held in April and May 2026 in the first week of July 2026. It will be available on the official website of Osmania University, Hyderabad, https://osmania.ac.in/, as a marksheet, which you can access with your hall ticket number, so make sure to be handy with it.

The results for all these examinations won’t be made public simultaneously. The university is all set to announce it gradually; firstly, the 6th and 5th semester examination results will be made public, then the 4th and 3rd semester, and finally the 2nd and 1st semester. Notably, only those who meet or exceed the minimum passing criteria.

The minimum requirement to be declared successful in the OU Degree April-May 2026 examination is a 40% score in each paper’s internal assessment (IA) and end-semester examination (ESE), and an aggregate. To pass it, you need 32 marks in each ESE and 8 marks in IA of each paper. If you failed to meet the passing criteria in either of the components, you will be declared unsuccessful in the examination.

Once the result is announced by Osmania University, Hyderabad, on its official website, you can check it by going through the step-by-step instructions available below.

• Go to the official website of Osmania University, Hyderabad.
• Click on the Examination option and then tap on the Result button.
• Find and click on the ‘BA/BSc/BCom 2nd/4th/6th or 1st/3rd/5th Semester Regular or Backlog Examination April-May 2026′ Result’, and get redirected to the result checking page.
• Enter your 12-digit Hall Ticket Number and click on the Submit button to check your subject-wise score, qualifying status, and other details.

The marksheet you will get from the official website of Osmania University, Hyderabad, won’t be your original marksheet. It will be just an internet copy, which the university releases to learn about their performance in the examination. You will get its original copy from the admitting college; usually, it is received within four to six weeks. 

Suppose that you took part in the 5th-semester regular examination for BCom, and the university releases it in early July 2026; then you can check to get your original marksheet from the admitting college by late August 2026. Notably, it carries the same details that you will find on the online result, but it is mandatory to collect the original copy because it is the only proof of passing the examination.

One more thing you should know: shortly after the result release, Osmania University, Hyderabad, will make available the revaluation form. It is for the students who aren’t satisfied with the result and want to get their answer sheet rechecked. If something similar happens to you, too, you can apply for it by paying the required amount of 500 rupees.
