JPSC Prelims Result 2026

The Jharkhand Public Service Commission conducted the JPSC CSE (Prelims) 2026 on April 19, 2026, for the candidates who applied for this examination between January 31, 2026, and February 20, 2026, and between February 26, 2026, and March 9, 2026. If you are one of the participants, note that the commission may release the result in early June 2026.

Reportedly, the result will be available on the official website of the commission at https://jpsc.gov.in/ as a merit list in PDF format, which will carry the roll number of qualified candidates. Note that you will find your details on this document if your score is at least equal to or above the cut-off marks, the minimum marks required to pass.

How to check the JPSC CSE (Prelims) result 2026?

Shortly after the JPSC Civil Services Examination (Preliminary) 2026 result, you can check it by going through the step-by-step instructions available below.

  • Firstly, go to the official website of the Jharkhand Public Service Commission.
  • Then, jump to the section of Important Announcements.
  • Now, click on the Result of Combined Civil Services Preliminary Examination-2026 (Advt. No. 01/2026) to download the merit list.
  • After that, open the result file and press CTRL+F, and enter your roll number to check if it is visible on it.

If you get to know that your roll number is available for the JPSC CSE (Prelims) 2026 result, it means you have passed the preliminary examination and are eligible to participate in the next stage, which is the main examination.

JPSC CSE (Prelims) Minimum Passing Marks 2026

The minimum passing criteria for the JPSC Combined Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2026 are a 40% score in aggregate, i.e., 160 marks out of 400 marks for the male individuals belonging to UR, BC-I, BC-II, and EW; but for all female candidates and SC and ST male aspirants, only a 32% aggregate score is needed, i.e., 128 marks out of 400 marks.

JPSC CSE (Prelims) Expected Cut-off Marks 2026

The actual cut-off marks to pass the JPSC CSE (Preliminary) 2026 will be released with the result; they are set to be available on the last page of the merit list, which will be different from one another. After the JPSC CSE (Prelims) 2026 result, the main examination will take place. The Jharkhand Public Service Commission may conduct it in July/August 2026.
