To download the admit card for the IBPS PO preliminary examination 2026, go through the step-by-step instructions available below.

IBPS PO Exam Time 2026
The IBPS will conduct the preliminary examination for the probationary officers with a time duration of an hour. The examination will take place in four shifts; the first shift examination is all set to be held from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, the second from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, the third from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, and the fourth from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
To participate in the preliminary examination, you have to report to the respective center at least an hour before the gate closing time. If you report late, you may be barred from taking the examination. The document you are required to carry with your admit card is a photo identity; that can be your voter ID, Aadhaar card, or PAN card.
IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2026
The IBPS will conduct the probationary officers’ preliminary examination in online mode, in which they will ask a total number of 100 objective-type questions from three different sections. Out of the total questions, 30 are set to be asked from English Language, and 35 from each of Quantitative Aptitude and English Language.
To cover the maximum number of questions in each section, you are set to get 20 minutes. Each question carries a weightage of 1 mark, and no mark is going to be deducted for an incorrect response. The medium of examination is English and Hindi, except for the English language section.
