Around 4.5 lakh students seeking admission to Plus One (class 11) in the government schools of Kerala for the academic year 2026-27 have registered on the Higher Secondary Centralized Admission Process portal. The Directorate of General Education made the online form available on the HSCAP portal on May 25, 2026, and the window to apply for the same was available until June 3, 2026.
The Kerala Plus One Admission 2026-27 process consists of multiple stages, including registration, mock allotment result, editing of the form, if required by the student, final allotment result, and school reporting. Students who registered on or before June 3, 2026, can check their mock allotment from the HSCAP portal, as the officials have already made it public on June 8, 2026.
Notably, the option of fixing errors and making changes is June 10, 2026; if any student has made a mistake or wants to rearrange a choice, they can do so before 5:00 pm on the due date. Based on students’ marks in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination, reservation rules, and students’ choice filling, they are all set to release the final allotment result on June 15, 2026.
The Directorate of General Education will release the allotted result for the Kerala +1 admission 2026-27 on the HSCAP portal, https://hscap.kerala.gov.in/. If you have applied to get admission in Plus One (Class 11) with science, commerce, arts, or vocational, you can check your allotment result by providing your username and password once they have made it public on the web portal.
Once they have made the Kerala Plus One Admission 2026-27 allotment result public, you can check it by going through the step-by-step instructions available below.
- Visit the Higher Secondary Centralized Admission Process portal.
- Click on the ‘First Allotment Result’ option and go to the login page.
- Enter your username and password, choose your district, and click on the login button.
Only those students who are going to be allocated a school for admission in the first allotment result whose score in the Kerala SSLC examination 2026 ranked among all applicants. After the allotment result, students will have to download the allotment letter and make a print copy to carry it with other required documents to the allotted college for admission formalities and fee payment.
It is important to note that if you are allotted a school of your first preference, you will have only the option to report to the allotted school to confirm admission; ignoring it will result in cancellation of your registration for admission, which means you are out of the admission process. If you have any seat other than the first choice, you have two options.
- The first one is to take permanent admission by reporting at the allotted school with full admission fee payment and document submission.
- Alternatively, you can take temporary admission; often, students who aren’t fully satisfied with allotted seats and want improvement in the second or third allotment go with this option, for which you have to submit all documents but have to pay a portion of the total fee.
If you opt for temporary admission, you get a better seat in the second or third allotment; you can cancel the temporary admission by taking back your documents and submitted fee, and then you have to report to the college where you want to get permanent admission.
