The Bihar Staff Selection Commission will release the notification for recruitment of Urdu Anuwadak (Urdu Translator) in the very near future and invite candidates to apply. As of now, BSSC hasn’t yet disclosed when they will release it. There’s a high speculation that they will make it public in September 2026 for more than 1500 vacancies.

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the Bihar Urdu Translator Recruitment 2026 in terms of nationality, educational qualification, and age limit are as follows.

Selection Process
The Bihar Urdu Anuvadak Recruitment 2026 selection process has mainly two stages, which are the preliminary examination and the main examination. If BSSC releases the notification in September 2026, the first stage may take place by late 2026 and the final in the first quarter of 2027. The exam pattern for each is expected to remain the same as in 2019; please refer to the tables for the details.

Pay Scale
The pay scales for the different positions of Urdu Anuvadak in Bihar vary from one another. Refer to the table below to check the basic pay a candidate can get during the service period as per the 7th Central Pay Commission.

The salary includes basic pay, dearness allowance, house rent allowance, and other benefits as per the Government of Bihar rules. In Bihar, currently the DA is 60% of basic pay, and HRA is up to 16%.

The application form for the BSSC Urdu Anuvadak Recruitment 2026 will be available online only at https://bssc.bihar.gov.in/. Note that the window to submit an application form is set to be available for four weeks with the release of notification. The window to apply may be available between September 2026 and October 2026.
