Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criteria for the Trade Finance Officers – IBG (TFO-IBG), JMGS-I, and MMGS-II recruitment under the State Bank of India are as follows.

  • To apply for JMGS-I and MMGS-II, a candidate must have pursued a bachelor’s degree in any subject from a UGC-recognised university. The candidate also has a certification in Forex Operations from IIBF on or before 31, 2026.
  • Individuals who have GTC – Global Trade Certificate, ICC Academy, CITF – Certificate in International Trade Finance, LIBF, Certificate in International Trade Finance, IIBF, CDCS – Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists, LIBF, CSDG – Certificate for Specialists in Demand Guarantees, LIBF, or CTFP – Certified Trade Finance Professional, ICC Academy, will get preference.
  • The age limit is 21 to 30 years, and 23 to 30 years are for TFO-IBG – JMGS-I and TFO-IBG – MMGS-II, respectively.
  • The minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in trade finance processing and operations is required for JMGS-I; the same for MMGS-II, which is 3 years.

In addition to the above-mentioned requirements, the candidates must have outstanding communication, presentation, and processing skills. The age relaxation is applicable for 3 years for OBC-NCL and 5 years for SC and ST. There is an additional age relaxation for 10 years for PwBD.

Application Fee 

In order to apply for the SBI Trade Finance Officer Recruitment 2026, the payment of the application fee is mandatory. The payable is ₹750 using the debit card, credit card, NET banking, or UPI. For the candidates who belong to SC, ST and PwBD, there’s no payable amount. Make sure you pay it by the deadline of September 19, 2026, otherwise your application won’t be accepted.

Selection Process 

The selection process for Trade Finance Officers – IBG (TFO-IBG), JMGS-I, and MMGS-II under the State Bank of India consists of two stages, which are shortlisting and interview. Candidates who will pass the second stage of the selection process will be shortlisted for appointment. Shortlisting will take place based on candidates’ eligibility and the weight of the interview of 100 marks.

Pay Scale 

Individuals who will be appointed for Trade Finance Officer – IBG (JMGS-I) will get the starting basic pay of ₹48,480; the same for the MMGS-II for ₹64,820. In addition to basic pay, the candidate will get Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), Provident Fund, and other benefits.
