The Central Selection Board of Constables, Bihar, conducted the written examination for recruitment of Prohibition Constable under the Prohibition, Excise & Registration Department, Government of Bihar on 14 and 17 June 2026 in offline mode using the OMR sheet.
The written examination, which took place in June 2026, is the first stage of the selection process for Bihar Prohibition Constable Recruitment 2026. If you have participated in this stage, you shouldn’t that they will announce the result as a merit list in PDF format on its official website at https://csbc.bihar.gov.in/.
The board hasn’t confirmed any date for the result of the written examination, but reports say that they will complete the answer sheet evaluation process by the mid July 2026 and then the result release will take place. So we are expecting that they will announce the result most probably in late July 2026.
Note that the result will carry the roll number of qualified candidates. You will find your details on the document only if your score meets or exceeds the cut-off marks. The cut-off marks aren’t pre-decided; the board will decide it based on candidates’ score then make it public with the result.

How to check the Bihar Prohibition Constable Result 2026?
Once the CSBC, Bihar has announced the result for the written examination held in June 2026, you can check it by going through the step-by-step instructions.
- Go to the official website of the Central Selection Board of Constables, Bihar at https://csbc.bihar.gov.in/.
- Tap on the ‘Prohibition Department, Government of Bihar’ option.
- Click on the option that reads ‘List Of Candidates Eligible for Physical Efficiency Test – Prohibition Constable 2026’ to download the merit list.
- Open the result file and search your Roll Number to check if you have passed the written examination.
What after the Bihar Prohibition Constable Result 2026 release?
After the Prohibition Constable written examination result, the CSBC Bihar will conduct the second stage, Physical Efficiency Test. The board will conduct the PET within a few weeks after the result. As they are going to announce the result in late July 2026, we are expecting that they will conduct the second stage in September 2026.
The Physical Efficiency Test carries a weightage of 100 marks, which includes 25 marks for running, 25 marks for the high jump, and 25 marks for the shot put. Below, we have shared the pattern for each.
