The window to apply for the APGENCO AEE Recruitment 2026 is set to be available on the official website of https://apgenco.gov.in/ from June 30, 2026, and it will remain available until July 20, 2026. Eligibility Criteria 

In order to apply for the recruitment of AEE under APGENCO, you are required to meet the educational qualification and age limit shared below.

Educational Qualification: 

  • You have pursued or completed the required degree from an AICTE-recognised institution.
  • Electrical: Full-time B.E. / B.Tech / A.M.I.E. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).
  • Electrical: Full-time B.E. / B.Tech / A.M.I.E. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).
  • Civil: Full-time B.E. / B.Tech / A.M.I.E. in Civil Engineering
  • Electronics: Full-time B.E. / B.Tech / A.M.I.E. in Electronics / ECE / Telecommunication Engineering.

Age Limit:

  • You aren’t below the age of 18 years and above 42 years as of July 1, 2026.
  • If you are above the upper age limit, you can claim the age relaxation for 5 years for SC, ST and OBC.

Application Fee

It is mandatory to pay the application fee to apply for the APGENCO Assistant Executive Engineer Recruitment 2026, the payable amount for all category candidates is 1,000 rupees. You can deposit this fee using the debit card, credit card, NET banking or any other provided payment gateway.

Selection Process 

The selection process for the recruitment of  Assistant Executive Engineer under the APGENCO consists of two stages, the first one is computer-based test examination and second is document verification. After applying, you have to sit in the CBT examination and then in the DV. 

The APGENCO will prepare the final selection list for the AEE based on the performance in the CBT. You will be shortlisted for the appointment only if your score in the first stage of the selection process will meet or exceed the cut-off marks, which they will decide after evaluating candidates’ response sheet.

Exam Date & Pattern

The Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation Limited will conduct the CBT examination from 22 to 29 August 2026 across the state at various examination centres, the timing of the examination is still undisclosed, they will make it public by releasing the hall ticket.

The APGENCO will conduct the CBT examination with a time duration of 2 hours, in which there will be a total number of 100 objective-type questions. Out of total questions 100 objective-type questions will be asked from two different subjects, 70 from technical knowledge and 30 from the Analytical Aptitude.

Each question carries a weightage of 1 mark, and there is no provision of negative marking. To touch all multiple-choice questions, you will have a time duration of 2 hours, and the medium of the examination is going to be only English.
