The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission conducted the UPSSSC Junior Engineer (Civil) Main Examination 2026 on May 3, 2026, against a total number of 4,612 vacancies. The number of candidates who have participated in the examination is in thousands, and now they are eagerly waiting for the result declaration.
The date for announcement of the result hasn’t yet been revealed by the UPSSSC, but it may be made public online very soon. Some reports are suggesting that the commission will announce it in the last week of May 2026 because the answer sheet evaluation process is almost completed, and the officials are busy preparing the results.
If you are one of those students who have participated in this examination, note that the result is all set to be made public as a merit list in PDF format, which will carry the roll number of qualified candidates. Note that only the details of those candidates are going to be available in this document whose scores will meet or exceed the cut-off marks.
Your roll number will be available on the merit list only if your score in the examination is at least equal to the cut-off marks. Note that the cut-off marks are the minimum requirement to be declared successful in the examination, which is going to be different from one another for each category. Refer to the table below to check the expected cut-off marks.

Once the result for the main examination is made public on the official website of UPSSSC, you can check it by following the step-by-step instructions available.
- Go to the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission at https://upsssc.gov.in/.
- On the homepage, you will see an option that reads Notice Board (Vigyapti). Click on it and get redirected to another webpage.
- Click on the ‘List of Candidates Qualified for Document Verification for Junior Engineer (Civil) Main Exam’ option and download the merit list.
- Open the result PDF and search your roll number to check that you have passed the examination.
If you find your roll number on this document, it means you have passed the main examination, and you are eligible to participate in the final stage of the selection process, which is document verification. It will be held a few days after the result; to participate in it, you have to carry the required documents.
