Periyar University April 2026 examination passing criteria
If you have participated in the Periyar University April 2026 examination for any undergraduate, note that to pass the examination you need at least a 40% score in each paper and as an aggregate; and if you have taken part in the examination for any postgraduate course, then you need at least a 50% score aggregate and in each individual paper.
It is mandatory to meet the minimum requirement in internal assessment and external examination. For reference, the undergraduate course has an internal assessment of 25 marks, meaning one needs 10 marks in it, and the external examination is of 75 marks, which means the candidate needs 30 marks in it.
Internal assessment and external examination for the postgraduate courses also have the weightage of 25 marks and 75 marks, respectively, but the minimum requirement to pass the examination is 13 marks in the internal assessment and 37 marks in the external examination.
