OSSTET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
The BSE Odisha will conduct the OSSTET 2026 for two different papers: Paper 1 is for the Trained Graduate Teacher (Arts or Science) (PCM or CBZ), Hindi Teacher, and Classical Teacher (Sanskrit, Urdu, and Telugu); and Paper 2 is for the Physical Education Teacher. - TGT Arts: You have completed a bachelor’s degree in arts or commerce and a B.Ed., integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed., or integrated B.A.-B.Ed.
- TGT Science (PCM/CBZ): You have pursued a bachelor’s degree in science, a B.Tech or B.E., and a B.Ed., integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed., or integrated B.Sc.-B.Ed.
- Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, or Telugu Teacher: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in the concerned subject and Hindi Shikshan Parangat, B.H.Ed., Sikshya Shastri, Urdu B.Ed., or Telugu B.Ed.
- Physical Education Teacher: You have passed the higher secondary examination, complete C.P.Ed., D.P.Ed., B.P.Ed., or M.P.Ed.
The minimum requirement in a qualifying degree or examination is a 50% score as aggregate marks; the same for reserved categories is 45%. There is no age limit to apply for the OSSTET 2026.
OSSTET 2026 Application Fee
The application fee for the Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test 2026 is 900 rupees for the General and Socially & Economically Backward Classes, and the same for the aspirants belonging is 600 rupees for Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribes.
