GNDU Even Semester Result 2026 for UG and PG Examinations, Release Soon 

Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, conducted the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, and 10th semesters for various undergraduates and the 2nd and 4th semesters for different postgraduates in offline mode in May 2026. Now, they are going to announce the result as a marksheet showing the subject-wise score and qualifying status.

If you have participated in the even-semester examination for any UG or PG, you should know that they will announce the result very soon at https://gnduresult.org/. The result release will take place gradually for different courses. They are expected to start announcing the examination result by the last week of June 2026.

Firstly, the GNDU will announce the results for postgraduate courses and then for undergraduates. It is certain that they will announce the PG result for the 4th semester and then the 2nd; after that, the 10th-semester UG examination result, followed by the 8th, 6th, 4th, and 2nd semesters. 

How to check the GNDU even semester result 2026?

Once they have announced the result for the GNDU Even Semester Examination 2025-26, you can check it by going through the step-by-step instructions.

  • Go to the result portal of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.
  • Navigate to the menu bar, and click on the Examination option.
  • Now, tap on the Result option.
  • Choose the year as 2026 and the month as May.
  • Select the Course type and class/semester.
  • Click on the Roll Number and click on the Submit button.

Passing Criteria 

To be declared successful in the even semester examination for any UG of the GNDU, you need at least a 33% score in each paper; for PG courses, the same is 40%. It is mandatory that you meet the passing criteria in each paper. If you fail to meet even one subject, you will fail the examination. Notably, for the subjects with practical components, it is mandatory that you pass with separate passing marks. 

Original Marksheet 

The GNDU result for the semester examination that you will get from the official website is a provisional marksheet. You will receive the original copy of the same from the college you are admitted to. Note that the university will send the original marksheet to the college within a month after the result, and then you have to collect it by reporting at the college.

What if you fail the examination?

If you fail the examination for any subject in an undergraduate or postgraduate course, you have the option to appear in the supplementary examination for that subject in the next cycle’s examination. If you feel that there was a checking error, you can apply for revaluation of the answer sheet for that paper. 

Notably, the revaluation forms are usually available for two weeks after the GNDU Even Semester result May 2026. To apply for the same, you have to pay the required amount. Applying for revaluation of the answer sheet may result in a score increase, a score decrease or even remaining the same.
