Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the Trade Finance Officers – IBG (TFO-IBG), JMGS-I, and MMGS-II recruitment under the State Bank of India are as follows.
- To apply for JMGS-I and MMGS-II, a candidate must have pursued a bachelor’s degree in any subject from a UGC-recognised university. The candidate also has a certification in Forex Operations from IIBF on or before 31, 2026.
- Individuals who have GTC – Global Trade Certificate, ICC Academy, CITF – Certificate in International Trade Finance, LIBF, Certificate in International Trade Finance, IIBF, CDCS – Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists, LIBF, CSDG – Certificate for Specialists in Demand Guarantees, LIBF, or CTFP – Certified Trade Finance Professional, ICC Academy, will get preference.
- The age limit is 21 to 30 years, and 23 to 30 years are for TFO-IBG – JMGS-I and TFO-IBG – MMGS-II, respectively.
- The minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in trade finance processing and operations is required for JMGS-I; the same for MMGS-II, which is 3 years.
In addition to the above-mentioned requirements, the candidates must have outstanding communication, presentation, and processing skills. The age relaxation is applicable for 3 years for OBC-NCL and 5 years for SC and ST. There is an additional age relaxation for 10 years for PwBD.
