The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board has released the notification for Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical) recruitment and invited candidates to apply between September 1 and 9, 2026. Candidates who are eligible may submit their application form through the PSSSB’s official website, https://sssb.punjab.gov.in/.
Candidates who are interested in getting appointed for the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical) position may apply. Notably, only those individuals’ application forms are going to be accepted by the PSSSB who have provided all the details accurately.

The age relaxation is applicable for 5 years for SC & BC candidates of Punjab, 8 years for Punjab/State & Central government employees, and 10 years for Punjab resident widows.

To deposit the application fee, candidates can use any online payment gateway such as a debit card, credit card, NET banking, or UPI. The deadline to make payment is September 9, 2026.

The written examination date is still unconfirmed. The PSSSB will conduct it most probably in late 2026. Candidates who will pass it will be called for the document verification, and then the distribution of appointment letters will take place.

Candidates who belong to the PwBD category will get an additional 40 minutes to touch all questions; the toughness of questions is set to be diploma- or degree-level engineering level.
Pay Scale
| Basic Pay | ₹35,400 per month as per Level 6. |
Candidates who will be appointed as junior engineers (civil, mechanical, or electrical) get a monthly salary of ₹42,000 to ₹48,000 with DA, HRA, TA, and other applicable allowances.
