Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualifications and age limit for the NICL Assistant Recruitment 2026 are as follows.
- You have pursued a bachelor’s degree in any subject from a UGC-recognized university.
- You shouldn’t be younger than 21 years and older than 30 years as of July 1, 2026.
If you are above the upper age limit, you can claim age relaxation if you belong to the reserved category. The category-wise age relaxation:
- Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST): 5 years
- Other Backward Classes (OBC – Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD):
- UR/EWS: 10 years
- OBC: 13 years
- SC/ST: 15 years
Application Fee

Selection Process
The selection process for the NICL Assistant Recruitment 2026 consists of three stages, which are the preliminary examination, main examination, and regional language test. The National Insurance Company Limited will prepare the final selection list for appointment based on candidates’ performance in the second selection, the first and last being qualifying in nature.
Exam Date
The National Insurance Company Limited has already announced the date for the preliminary and main examination. After applying, you have to sit in the first stage of the selection process on August 27, 2026; if you pass it, you have to appear in the second stage, scheduled to take place on October 30, 2026.
