HP Police Constable Eligibility Criteria 2026
To apply for the HPPSC constable recruitment 2026, it is mandatory to meet the educational qualification, age limit, and physical standard.
Educational Qualification
You must have passed the class 12 examination from a school recognized by the Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education or the Central Board of Secondary Education.
Age Limit
Your age should not be below 18 years and above 25 years. If you belong to other backward class, scheduled caste, or scheduled tribe, you can apply even if you reach the age of 28 years, as the three-year age relaxation for these categories is applicable.
Note that candidates who are already appointed as Home Guards are also eligible to apply if they are not above the age of 29 years.

The selection process for the HP police constable recruitment 2026 consists of two stages, which are the physical efficiency test and the written examination.
