OPTCL Trainee Result 2026: Corporation Will Soon Release The Merit List 

The Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited conducted the computer-based test examination for the recruitment of MT (Civil/Law), JMT (Civil), and Office Assistant Grade-III Trainee on June 29 and 30, 2026. They conducted it against 50 vacancies, in which thousands of candidates have participated, and now they are waiting for results.

If you are one among the participants of this CBT examination, then note that the OPTCL will announce the result as a merit list in PDF format. On this document, you will find your roll number of qualified candidates. It will carry your roll number only if your score in this examination is equal or above the cut-off marks of your category. 

The corporation will announce the result shortly after the response sheet evaluation; they are likely to complete the same by the last week of July 2026. After completing it, they will have the time of a few days to prepare the result and announce it. So, we are expecting that the result release may take place in early August 2026.

• Click on the ‘CAREER’ option and select the NEW OPENING.
• Jump to the section of ‘MPP&R-08/2025-26 RECRUITMENT OF MANAGEMENT TRAINEE / JUNIOR MANAGEMENT TRAINEE / OFFICE ASSISTANT GRADE-III TRAINEE.’
• Tap on the option related to ‘List of Candidates Eligible for Personal Interview (MT (Civil/Law) and JMT (Civil)’ or ‘Skill Test for Office Assistant Grade-III Trainee’ and download the merit list PDF file.
• Open the result file and search your roll number to check if you have passed the CBT examination.

After the CBT examination results by the corporation, they will conduct the second stage of the selection process. Note that the OPTCL will announce the date for the personal interview and skill test a few days after releasing the result, but it is expected that they will hold them by late September 2026 or early October 2026.

The personal interview will take place in face-to-face mode, likely with a duration under 15 minutes, in which the interviewer will assess the candidate’s knowledge in terms of technicalities and communication. On the other hand, a skill test will be held through the computer, in which the candidate will have to work on MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 

After the successful conduct of the personal interview and skill test, the corporation will prepare the final selection list for the appointment of candidates based on their scores in the first and second stages of the selection process with a weightage of eighty: twenty.
