On June 28, 2026, the Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine released advertisement No. 01/2026 for the recruitment of Group A, B, and C positions and invited candidates to apply online. The window to apply for the same is also set to be available at https://ccrum.ayush.gov.in/ from July 1 to 31, 2026, for eligible candidates.
They have released a notification for this recruitment against a total number of 179 vacancies, which includes 19 for Group A, 35 for Group B, and 123 for Group C. The complete breakdown of the number of vacancies is shared below.

Payment of the required fee is mandatory to apply for this recruitment. Notably, the payable amount is ₹1,000, which includes a ₹500 processing fee and a ₹1,000 examination fee for Group A and B positions, but in Group C positions, the payable amount is only ₹1,300, which includes a ₹500 processing fee and an ₹800 examination fee.
All female aspirants and male candidates who belong to the SC, ST, PwBD, and EWS categories are required to deposit only a processing fee of ₹500. If you are going to apply, you can use a debit card, credit card, NET banking, or UPI to make a payment.
To recruit candidates for different Group A, B, and C positions, the CCRUM will conduct a computer-based test examination for each position; the pattern is set to be different from one another. The date for the same is still unconfirmed but may take place in Q3 of 2026.
After the result of the CBT examination, they will conduct the interview, skill test, and typing test, depending on the position and applicability. After that the document verification and medical examination will take place following the appointment.
