The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission conducted the written examination for the position of Trained Graduate Teacher on 3 June 2026 and 4 June 2026 in offline mode using the OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) sheet across the state. A large number of candidates participated in it against the 3,539 vacancies, and now all of them are waiting for the result.
Reportedly, the UPESSC is still evaluating the answer sheet, which will be completed most probably by late June 2026, and then the result will be made as a merit list. If you are one among the aspirants who have participated in the written examination held for the TGT position, then note that the result will be put out as a merit list in PDF format, which will carry the roll number of qualified candidates.
As a participant, you will find your roll number on the result file only if your score in the written examination is equal to or above the cut-off marks for a certain subject and category. Notably, the cut-off marks aren’t pre-decided; the UPESSC will decide them based on individuals’ performance. They will make it public in a separate PDF after the result, which will carry category-wise subjects and categories.
For reference, we have shared the expected cut-off marks for the position of the Uttar Pradesh Trained Graduate Teacher written examination. If your tentative score is the same, you are likely to be declared successful in the first stage of the selection process, as per our analysis.
