The Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota, conducted the Rajasthan Pre D.El.Ed. Examination 2026 on May 20, 2026, for the applicants of the examination. It was taken by lakhs of students seeking admission for the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education programme (General and Sanskrit) in the government and private colleges of Rajasthan for the academic year 2026-27.
Following the successful conduction of the examination in offline mode using the OMR sheet, now the nodal university is evaluating the answer sheet of exam takers. They officially haven’t confirmed the date for the results, but many reports say that they will announce the results in the second week of June 2026. Notably, the result release will take place on the portal at predeledraj2026.com.
Results for this entrance examination are all set to be made public as a scorecard, to access which one has to provide login credentials, application number and date of birth. It will show many crucial details such as category rank, state merit rank, result status, total marks obtained, section-wise marks, and personal information such as name, roll number, date of birth, category, etc.
The most crucial thing in the result is the result status, which shows that the candidate has qualified for the counselling (admission process) or not. - Firstly, go to the official website of the VMOU Kota at https://vmou.ac.in/, and tap on the ‘Pre DElEd 2026’ option.
- Tap on ‘Click Here for Detailed Information for Rajasthan Pre DElEd 2026’ and go to the official portal.
- Find and click on the ‘Scorecard/Result’ option to access the login page.
- Enter the Application Number and Date of Birth, and tap on the Proceed button to get the marks sheet.
What after the Rajasthan Pre DElEd Result 2026?
Following the result release for the Rajasthan Pre D.El.Ed. Examination 2026, the VMOU Kota itself will conduct the counselling process under the supervision of the Department of Elementary Education, Rajasthan. Notably, it will start in the last week of July 2026 and last for almost 8 weeks. It consists of multiple stages, which are shared below.
- Registration & Fee Payment: Qualified candidates will have to first register on the portal by providing all the details and making the required fee payment; the window for the same is expected to be around 2 weeks.
- Choice Filling: It will be available along with registration and fee payment. After completing the first two things, the candidate will have to exercise it; it includes choosing a college to get admission for a two-year DElEd.
- Seat Allotment: After the closure of the choice-filling window, the VMOU, Kota, will release the seat allotment result, allotting the college to students to get admission.
- Remaining Fee Payment: If the candidate is satisfied with the allotted college and interested in getting admission to it, he or she has to make payment of the remaining fee to download the allotment letter.
- College Reporting: After downloading the allotment letter, the candidate has to make a print copy of it and other required documents and report to the college for verification in order to complete admission formalities.
If the candidate isn’t satisfied with the allotted seat, he or she has two options: one is to ignore the allotted seat and directly take part in the next stage, and the second is to apply for upward movement. Applying for it means the candidate is seeking betterment in the next round by keeping this seat; if any option is allotted, then the candidate can exit the first allotted seat and take admission to a new one if he/she wants.
