The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board conducted the Nursing Officer & Sister Tutor Recruitment Test 2026 on May 15, 2026, in which most of the applicants of the recruitment drive had participated, and now all of them are waiting for the result for the CBT examination.
It was held in the computer-based test mode against a total of 2,317 vacancies, which include 2,099 positions for nursing officers under the government health institutions, 10 autonomous medical colleges, and 218 sister tutors under the government nursing colleges.
Reportedly, the MPESB has already started the response sheet evaluation process shortly after the examination, which will be completed within four to six weeks, and then they will announce the result. The most expected date for the result is the last week of June 2026, as a merit list and also as a scorecard.
The merit list will be available as a PDF, which will carry the application number of qualified candidates, but the scorecard will be accessible through the candidate login using the application number, date of birth, first 2 letters of the mother’s name, and last 4 digits of the Aadhar number, showing marks and other details.
The selection process for the recruitment of a nursing officer and sister tutor consists of two stages, which include a CBT examination, which has already been held, and the document verification, which will take place after the result. Note that only those are going to be shortlisted on the merit list, whose score in the first stage will be at least equal to cut-off marks.
Notably, the cut-off mark is the minimum requirement to be declared successful in the CBT examination and called for the second row. The MPESB hasn’t yet made it public, but they have yet to determine it. After the response sheet evaluation, they will determine it by analysing different factors and make it public with the result in a separate PDF.
The cut-off marks won’t be the same for both positions; they are going to be different from one another, even though for different categories, the cut-off marks vary. It is tough to say what the cut-off marks won’t be; however, by analysing different factors, we have prepared expected category-wise cut-off marks for each position that you may check from below.
| Category | Nursing Officer | Sister Tutor |
| Unreserved (UR) | 70 – 75 | 72 – 77 |
| Other Backward Classes (OBC) | 66 – 71 | 68 – 73 |
| Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) | 64 – 69 | 67 – 72 |
| Scheduled Castes (SC) | 58 – 63 | 60 – 65 |
| Scheduled Tribes (ST) | 52 – 57 | 55 – 60 |
