The Haryana Public Service Commission conducted the written examination for recruitment of Assistant Engineer (Civil) (Group B) under the Public Health Engineering Department, Government of Haryana, against a total number of 50 vacancies in offline mode using the OMR sheet. In this examination, a large number of candidates participated. Now they all are going to announce the result on their official website.
If you have participated in the first stage of the selection process for the HPSC AE recruitment 2026 on June 14, 2026, you should know that the commission will announce the result on its official website as a merit list. They haven’t confirmed any date for the result, but there’s a high speculation that they will announce the result in the last week of July 2026. You will find your roll number on this document only if your score meets or exceeds cut-off marks.
Note that the cut-off marks to pass the written examination aren’t pre-decided; after completing the answer sheet evaluation process, the official of the HPSC will decide it by analyzing different factors such as the number of vacancies, the number of candidates who participated in the written examination, reservation rules, and sorting criteria for the next stage. How to check the HPSC AE (Civil) Result 2026
In order to check the result for the written examination held on June 14, 2026, for recruitment of AE (Civil), please go through the step-by-step instructions.
- Go to the official website of the Haryana Public Service Commission at https://hpsc.gov.in/.
- In the main menu, you will see an option that reads ‘RESULTS’; tap on it and go to the other page.
- Find and click on the option that reads ‘Screening Test Result for the posts of Assistant Engineer (Civil) in PWD B&R / Panchayati Raj, Advt No. 19/2025’ to download the merit list.
- Open the result file and search your roll number to check if you have passed the written examination.
What happens after the HPSC AE (Civil) Result 2026?
After the result for the written examination held by the Haryana Public Service Commission on June 14, 2026, is released, they will conduct the second stage of the selection process, the Subject Knowledge Test. The commission has already confirmed a date for the same; it is all set to take place on September 27, 2026. They will conduct it also in offline mode.
The commission will conduct it with a time duration of 3 hours, whose weightage is 150 marks. The medium of the same is only English. In this examination, you have descriptive-type questions from the following subjects, which include:

- Soil & Foundations
- Water & Irrigation
- Environment & Health
- Roads & Mapping
After the subject knowledge test, the Haryana Public Service Commission will conduct the interview. The last stage will take place in face-to-face mode, in which you participate by carrying all the required documents, original and xerox copies.
Note that the commission will communicate the date for the interview via email, and in the final stage they will prepare the final selection list for appointment based on candidates’ performance in the last two stages with a weight of 87.5:12.5. If your roll number and/or name appears on the final selection list, you may have to appear for the medical examination, and after clearing it, you will get your appointment letter.
