The Haryana State Board of Technical Education conducted the HSBTE Diploma May 2026 cycle examination in offline mode. Students pursuing diploma courses from different institutions of Haryana took part in this examination, and now they are waiting for the result release. HSBTE Marksheet 2026
The marksheet you will download from the HSBTE’s official website is provisional; you will get the original one from the admitted institution. Notably, after the online result release, the board sends the physical copy of the marksheet to institutions within four to six weeks, and then they distribute it.
If result release happens as per expectation, you can expect to get your original marksheet from the admitted institution by mid-August 2026. It carries the same details that you will find in your provisional marksheet, but collecting it is mandatory, as it is only proof of passing the examination that you may need in future.
HSBTE Passing Criteria 2026
In order to pass the HSBTE Diploma May 2026 cycle examination, you need a 33% score in the theory paper and 40% in the practical, and the aggregate of both should be 40%. If you fail to meet the passing criteria in one or two papers, you have to reappear in the same during the supplementary examination.
If you don’t meet the minimum passing criteria in more than two subjects, you may not be promoted to the next semester, meaning you have to repeat the whole semester, meaning you have to appear in the December 2026 cycle examination for all subjects, not only those in which you failed to meet the minimum requirement.
