The Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh, conducted the 2nd, 4th and 6th semester examinations from 5 to 26 May 2026 for various diploma courses in offline mode, in which a large number of students pursuing diplomas from the different government institutions of Uttar Pradesh participated. Now they are waiting for the result to be made public. Here, we have shared all you need to know about the result release.
BTEUP Diploma Result 2026
The BTEUP diploma even-semester examination 2026 result release will take place very soon. The board will announce it on their official website, https://bteup.ac.in/, once they have completed the answer sheet evaluation process and prepared the results. They are expected to complete the answer sheet evaluation process by the last week of June 2026, so we expect that they will announce the result in the first week of July 2026.
If you are among the students who participated in the even semester examination held for academic year 2025-26, note that they will announce the result as a provisional marksheet showing the performance in the subject. To check the result, you have to provide your enrolment number and date of birth. We recommend you be handy with these credentials so you can check your outcome shortly after its availability.
In order to pass the BTEUP diploma even semester examination 2026 for any course, you need at least a 33% score in each theory paper, meaning you need at least 17 marks out of 50; otherwise, you will be declared unsuccessful in the examination. Notably, for practical tests, viva-voce, and lab evaluations, it is mandatory to get a 50% score. If you fail in a maximum of four papers, you can get promoted to the next semester; if more than 5, then the repeat of the semester is mandatory.
How to check the BTEUP even semester result 2026?

- Go to the official website of the Board of Technical Education Uttar Pradesh.
- Navigate to the menu bar and click on the Result option.
- Tap on the ‘VIEW UFM RESULT OF MAIN MAY 2026’ option.
- Enter your enrolment number and date of birth, and click the Show Result button.
The instructions given above will make your provisional marksheet visible to you, where you can check your score on paper. Notably, the board will send the original copy of the marksheet to institutes within a month of the result, and then you can collect it from your admitted institution.
It is mandatory to collect the original copy of the marksheet, because it is the only proof of passing the examination. After getting it, make sure you verify your personal information; if everything is okay, keep it safe, and if there is any error, you have to get in touch with your institution’s head to get it corrected.
What if you aren’t satisfied with the BTEUP diploma result 2026?
After the BTEUP diploma examination result 2026 release, if you aren’t satisfied with the marks obtained in one or more subjects, you can apply for either scrutiny or revaluation, for which a payment of 60 rupees and 500 rupees, respectively, is required for a paper. They both are different from one another; let’s understand each so you can make the right decision.
Applying for scrutiny means you want to get your answer sheet of a specific subject and get a quick go-through to check if any answer is left unchecked or there is an error in totalling, while applying for revaluation means you want the answer sheet to get rechecked by another examiner. In the first case, your score remains the same or increases, but in the second, it may even decrease.
