There are a total of 11 vacancies for the recruitment of JE under the RBI, out of which 7 are for candidates who have pursued an engineering degree in the civil stream, and 4 are for those who completed the same in the electrical stream. Reportedly, the concerned official is likely to complete the response sheet evaluation process by the last week of June 2026, shortly after the announcement of the result takes place. As of now, there is no confirmed date for the result, but it is expected that the Reserve Bank of India will publish it in the first or second week of July 2026.
The result is going to be announced as a merit list in PDF format carrying the roll number of qualified candidates. As a participant of the online examination, you will find your roll number on the result only if your score in the first stages of the RBI JE selection process is equal to or above the cut-off marks for your category.

- Visit the official website of the Reserve Bank of India.
- Go to the menu bar and click on the Opportunities option.
- Now you will see an option related to the recruitment of junior engineers (civil/electrical) for 2026; tap on it.
- Now, an option related to the ‘list of candidates eligible for the language proficiency test’ will be visible; tap on it to download the merit list of qualified candidates.
- Open the result file and search for your roll number to check if you have passed the examination or not.
If you find your own number on the merit list, it means you have successfully passed the online examination, and you are eligible to participate in the next stage of the selection process, that is, the language proficiency test.
