What are the passing criteria for the UoK NEP examination 2026?
To pass the Kota University BA, BSc and BCom examinations for the 1st, 3rd or 5th semester, a student is required to get at least a 40% score in the internal assignment and external examination. The internal assignments are of 50 marks, which includes 30 marks from the mid-term test and 20 marks from the project assignment and viva, and the external examination is of 100 marks, consisting of sections A and B.
In order to be declared successful in the examination, you need at least 20 marks out of 50 in the internal assignment and 40 marks out of 100 in the external examination. For the subject with a practical component, it is mandatory to get at least a 50% score in the practical component. Practical examinations are of 50 marks, which means you need at least 25 marks to pass the examination.
